Dominican Jubilee 2011 - Preaching and Culture / Community Preaching

 “We hear them speaking in our own tongues of the mighty acts of God” (Acts 2:11)

 

We feel that this theme touches us in a very special way. The suggestion DVI has to offer is an invitation to open our doors and our hearts to other cultures, other ways of seeing and living the world. The theme of preaching and culture calls DVI volunteers to reflect… The Jubilee commission of the Order has prepared two questions to gather some testimonials from all the branches of the family.

DVI offers its contribution and has asked one former volunteer to reply to these questions:

How do we preach as a community?

How do we preach within the diversity of cultures?
